Representatives from Beyond Borders was invited speak at the 7th annual Commonwealth Youth Ministers Meeting in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The brief speech by Guruparan touched on aspects of youth participation in Sri Lanka based on his experience at the Sri Lanka Youth Parliament and Beyond Borders. The speech was followed up by a Question and Answer session.
Youth Caucus leaders from the commonwealth youth program, representatives from local civic organizations were present.
